Synchroprimary - 2003 - 8" x 12" - Reversed Ink drawing superimposed in Photoshop - High Quality Prints Available $250.00 each

The drawing on the left is the original. I left it in my portfolio for about a year. While looking at it recently, I decided to scan it and play around with it in Photosuite and Photoshop. The first thing I did was reverse the image - as I often do to my pen and ink drawings. I then flooded the drawing three times - each with a solid primary. I then lassoo-ed them onto a fresh white screen - I really like the end result. This is a major departure for me. There may be more on the way stay tuned - get your rabbit ears up - there's something going on here - something kinda cool...

This one - "Floating Angel" was a cool process - sort of Marc Chagall influenced - he created many falling angels. I have always 'dug' these hovering angels or figures.

The first ink drawing took about three days to draw - I was drawing from my German model - who comes in handy for my nudes...

I enjoy the pallete of the finished print - the ruddy-chestnut brown to deeper beige works well as a semi-analogous flowing colour scheme.
